Flickering LED lights reveal incorrect grounding


Emergency Electrician Prince Georges has completed a LED lighting upgrade project. After the electricians with whom Electrician Prince Georges collaborates, installed the new LED projectors, they noticed that the newly installed LED lights were flickering. Licensed electricians are trained to diagnose electrical problems and they knew flickering LED lights could be a sign that there was a problem in the electrical system.

The technicians proceeded to troubleshoot the electrical system. They were able to conclude that the LED lamps were flickering due to improper grounding in the main electrical system and also found that the main service panel was in poor condition. Another sign that the electrical system was not properly grounded was the lack of grounding points in the building which can be common in the manufacturing of buildings older than 20-30 years. Electrician Prince Georges recommended the replacement of the main service and the correct installation of the grounding. When finished, the electricians checked and tested the ground system.

Importance of a properly grounded electrical system:

Having a properly managed and secure grounding system is critical to protecting both the safety of your employees and expensive equipment.
